Tilton Ski Team Ski's in Boston Harbor to raise awareness for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and to help raise funds to find a cure!
At 6:30 am Tilton Ski Team was off to Boston Harbor on Saturday July, 16. Kristen, Katie, Mike and Denise Tilton, Matt Jablonski, and Randy and Terry Youngsma all met in Boston Harbor to pull off the Tilton Ski Team event. Mike and Randy the expert boat drivers had planned the day out. They put the boat in the water in Winthrop, Ma and drove by boat to the World Trade Center in Boston where he picked up the rest of the team. All 7 people piled into 18 foot Ski Nautique and headed out into the harbor. First up was Kristen, Katie, Mike, and Denise. They each wore a red vest shirt displaying the letters L L S and the leukemia ribbon on Denise's shirt. It took the team about 5 minutes to get situated in the water then we were up and skiied for another 5! It was a beuatiful day the sun was out and shining with an amazing view of the city.
Kristen Tilton has been named the Honored Patient
for the Worcester 2011 Light the Night Walk
As honored patient Kristen will share her story at all pre-event programs as wel las serve as the keynote speaker at teh Walk on October 30th, 2011. Her strength and positive attitude about her battle and triumph over leukemia will surely inspire those affected by blood cancer who participate in Light the Night Walk.
On July 13, 2011 Kristen was invited to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Corporate Breakfast to share her story.

Kristen and family (husband Matt Jablonski, father Mike M5, sister Katie W1, and mom Denise) have been raising money as Tilton Ski team for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) via the Light the Night (LTN) Walk in Worcester Massachusetts. Check out the AWASA East Website!
